ALTO is a highly attractive, dark green chive suited for potted and cut production in a range of climates. ALTO produces uniform, refined stems which maintain their upright growth habit when grown both hydroponically and in the field.

A thick walled variety, ALTO processes well and has good tolerance to brown tips and rust. ALTO has good regenerative capabilities making it a highly versatile variety.
