OMERIS is an exciting new variety for cool season, producing an extremely vigorous, tall and upright frame, good curd protection and an elevated head set, allowing ease of harvest.
OMERIS has displayed exceptional curd quality in terms of density, white colour, round shape and a well tucked base.
Uniformity of maturity time is another key advantage of this variety, giving a high saleable yield on the first harvest.
To follow on from transitional varieties such as Bodilis, OMERIS has performed best in southern locales for the early winter timeslot while in northern regions, such as Pukekohe, it will suit harvesting for the full winter period.
