EDO
EDO is a purple shiso for both microgreen and full size herb production.
Purple shiso is a common Asian herb which is often referred to as Perilla.
EDO produces a fragrant aniseed flavour which is slightly less spicy that its green counterpart.
As a microgreen, EDO produces deep purple leaves.
When left to mature into a herb, EDO has pointed oval shaped leaves with a frilly leaf margin.

Agronomic considerations
To maintain germination shiso needs to be stored at a cooler temperature than standard seed varieties.
We recommend storing as close to 0 degrees Celsius.
