YUCATAN

YUCATAN is a small-to-medium sized crispy cos, suitable for both whole head harvest and processing.

YUCATAN is a 2nd generation crispy cos type and is ideally suited to warm season production but has a very wide growing window and will be able to be harvested year round in Northern areas.

YUCATAN has strong tipburn and bolting tolerance in warmer conditions. It is strong against twisting in cooler, low light conditions.

YUCATAN can be considered an improved Durango type.

The internal leaves are a uniform, light-green colour and a very short core means less waste.

Leaves can be used whole or chopped where their crisp texture remains intact longer than traditional style cos.
