SUMO is a green-stemmed pak choi (also known as pak choy, bok choi or bok choy) variety that is very slow bolting.
With wide adaptability, SUMO is able to be grown in most areas of New Zealand with quality heads being produced for year-round harvesting.
A hybrid variety, the heads produced are highly uniform in regards to head size, shape and maturity, which makes for ease of harvesting with one pass possible.
A compact and dense head with dark-green petioles and leaves.
