ROSETTA

ROSETTA is a ‘buttercos’ type, red lettuce suitable for both the whole head and leaf markets and, as the name suggests, grows in a rosette style providing a very high number of uniform, round to oval shaped leaves which maybe be used as either a cos leaf or butterhead leaf in salad mixes.

ROSETTA is extremely versatile and it is likely it will be able to be a year round variety in most areas. ROSETTA produces leaves of medium thickness which give excellent shelf life, the reverse cup and half red/ half green leaf giving shape and texture.

ROSETTA is suitable for production in both the field and hydroponics and is very strong against both tipburn and bolting. ROSETTA has a strong disease package with excellent mildew cover.
