SAHARA

SAHARA is a larger framed iceberg which produces medium sized head through the warmer months.

It will suit central areas (Horowhenua/Nelson) as a late spring/early summer harvest variety and more northern areas from late spring/summer through the heat of summer and on until autumn.

SAHARA shows strong tolerance to bolting and the larger frame gives it plenty of vigour in the transition from spring into true summer. In the warmer months it can produce a larger frame and be a little later to head but it will produce a very high cut out.

Due to its versatility many growers will find a wide, warm season window for SAHARA.
