DAGGER

DAGGER is a cool and cold season spinach for use in babyleaf/salad production. It is a very dark green colour and has high vigour, developing a thick leaf in the coldest of situations.

Being a very upright type DAGGER allows for ease of harvest when more European style spinach tend to hug the ground. DAGGER has a good disease package and shows very strong tolerance to yellowing under high rainfall.

DAGGER will power right through winter and will suit harvesting from late autumn right on through until mid to late spring. DAGGER has a flatter leaf but becomes slightly savoyed the colder the conditions are.

DAGGER can also be used for bunching spinach where it is slightly slower than Black Glove to size but gives additional disease resistance.
