BANDITO is a vigorous cool/cold season variety suited for harvesting in the heart of winter and on in to early spring.
BANDITO is suited to slotting prior to Matador - in northern regions cutting from early July. It crosses over in to the Matador slot from mid-august and on in to early September.
BANDITO does not puff up in early, warm spring conditions. A sure-heading type, BANDITO has a lightly blistered leaf with very high leaf numbers which provide good frost protection.
BANDITO produces a very uniform crop with round heads that sit up off of the ground allowing for ease of harvest and very few head rots.
BANDITO has excellent internal characteristics and a reasonable core. BANDITO has shown excellent tolerance to mildew and anthracnose.
