ACULA is for growers looking for an iceberg with even more vigour than Pedrola for late Autumn/early Winter and Spring when temperatures are cooler and more powerful varieties are required. With a larger frame and high leaf count, ACULA is a robust lettuce that produces very uniform heads at harvest. ACULA forms a large head that matures quickly and suits processors or markets which demand a larger head size for naked lettuce. The heads sit up off of the ground, are of good colour and hold well in the field.
