BUCKLEY

« Back

BUCKLEY is a triple red oakleaf with very thick leaves making for an extended shelf life product. Being of ‘Italian oakleaf’ shape the leaves are not as broad towards the base like traditional oakleaf types. In addition, BUCKLEY is a vigorous variety and due to its upright growing nature doesn’t suffer the issue of bacterial rots from leaves touching the ground like traditional oakleaf varieties do. Suitable for full head harvest and the salad leaf market. BUCKLEY is able to be mechanically harvested when planted at high densities.
