BARILLA is a butterhead variety with a more compact growth habit which may be better suited to higher density plantings or hydroponic set ups. A reliable variety, BARILLA is highly adaptable and will produce quality heads under different environmental conditions. A slow closing variety that is very strong against internal tipburn, BARILLA has good volume and will hold well when mature.
