A high quality mid-late maturing variety, GWENDIS follows on from Italis to further complement our Winter program. A unique variety with a high leaf count and good protection, the plant habit grows erect as it nears maturity allowing ease of harvest. In trials to date, the plant of GWENDIS has shown some tolerance to black rot. Curds are very white with a smooth texture and have an attractive swirling wrap. GWENDIS is ready to cut up to two weeks earlier than current Winter standards such as Triomphant.
