This year 275 delegates attended, there were 27 trade displays and 107 of the delegates attended the farm tours. The theme for the conference was ‘The Extra 5%’ with the objective to have growers focussed on achieving an extra 5%, whether this be in production efficiencies, management skills, pricing improvements, or just an extra 5% on the bottom line.

The HFF recognised delegates were all at different stages within their own business, this was evident in the diverse range of speakers who certainly covered every stage and need. Each speaker referred to the extra 5% in their presentation, it certainly armed delegates with both inspiration and information.

Next year it is Protected Cropping Australia's turn to hold Conference. This will be held 7-10th July at The Star, Gold Coast.

The programme commences Sunday afternoon with a public exhibition opening and concludes Wednesday 10th July with farm tours.
